Shania in the Willow Trees
I had this willow location in mind for a while, as I’ve passed by it a few times going to a local beach. I pitched this idea to Shania a while ago and then we found a mesh robe garment that would work perfectly for the shoot. The smoke from southern wildfires came into the Okanagan and it made for an interesting background. I actually did Shania’s makeup and hair, which I only offer to close friends since I’m not a licensed makeup artist/ stylist.
For most of these shots, I used my 50mm 1.8 lens!
